Editorial comments by Paul Hooper
Military Model Society of Illinois

http://www.mmsichicago.com

MMSI sponsors the annual Chicago show, one of the premiere shows in the world.  Everyone should try and attend it at least once.  Site has latest info on the next show and results of previous ones.

Historical Miniatures Society of Northeastern Oklahoma

http://www.hmsneo.org/

HMSNEO sponsors the annual Tulsa Show.  I haven't had the pleasure of going yet, but it is one I'd like to get to.  Very nice web site.

Southern California Area Historical Miniature Society

SCAHMS

SCAHMS sponsors the SCAHMS Show (surprise!), THE West Coast get-together.  Minimal web site.

National Capitol Model Soldier Society

http://www.geocities.com/ncmss/

Sponsors of the annual NCMSS Show held near Washington DC each August

Medieval, Roman Forum - New Zealand

http://forums.delphiforums.com/medrenfig

One of my favorite sites.  Delphi Forums has several figure/military history related forums (forae?) with LOTS of info, tips, reviews and chat. MedRom (or MedRen) concentrates on medieval and Roman periods including medieval Japan.  I check in here several times a week.

TnT Figure Forum

http://www.tnthome.ws/

Another one of the Delphi groups, this one covers all periods and nations. Again, lots of good interaction.
Planet Figure

http://www.planetfigure.com/

This is a very interesting site.  It contains several how-to articles as well as reviews and chats.  I believe it's fairly new, but it looks very good already.
Le Bivouac - French Club

http://www.lebivouac.com/

A French Club with some interesting info on techniques and uniforms.  Many of the pages are in English as well as French.
Webarmagedon - Spanish Assoc.

http://www.webarmagedon.org/

An all-Spanish site with lots of good photos (a gallery of Latorre work!).  Uses lots of animation so can be hard to view with a slow connection.
Spanish Figure Modeling Site

http://www.lilliputmodel.com/

Another Spanish site with some English pages.  Lots of great photos and links to useful info.
